Giving

If you’re a first-time guest or a non-Christian, we don’t want your money, we’re just glad to have you with us. The only thing we ask of you is to let us know you’ve stopped by either on the internet campus or here at our Boise campus, so we can get to know you. That’s your contribution to our service and ministry. You may desire to help support this ministry in the work of advancing the Kingdom. We understand that from time to time finances can get tight, and we would like you to know that we would rather have your prayers than see you out of your home or not be able to feed your family. This being said if it comes between you giving of your finances or your prayers we would rather have you pray for this ministry.

To those who call Servantsofgrace home, we encourage giving cheerfully and sacrificially giving of our finances as this is part of our worship. A believer labors not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God's resources well and model Jesus to brothers, sisters, and community.

If you're a Christian outside our region who uses the website regularly for personal growth and/or evangelism, and you feel compelled to give above and beyond the primary giving to your local Christian congregation and mission, we don't expect but do appreciate your contribution.

Our work is an effort to serve our Father in all things, and one of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our “firstfruits” (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9). We call our members to give, not by meeting some petty, obligatory percentage, but by digging deep and sacrificing for the sake of the gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is His anyway.

As part of being faithful to the mission of Jesus we plan on listing to you our visitors and members of our Boise/Internet campuses so that you know our budget. At present our budget includes our cell phones which are $100 dollars a month, $30 dollars a month for internet, $50 dollars a month for the webmaster, $35 dollars a month for sermonmediaplayer for use of unlimited bandwidth and space, $50 dollars a month on miscellaneous ministry expenses (books, etc). These are just the bare costs of the ministry and do not include gas, or food. We thank those who have helped us meet these needs and pray that those coming and remaining would join in faithful, consistent, godly giving as Scripture instructs.
